Job Description: Work with a current information system, assesses its growing needs, and designs and implements new software and applications that will help the company move forward in its market, and specifically within web-design and/or application implementation and management. Have the ability to augment or design the primary or secondary web sites and applications to meet the specific needs, requirements, and requests of the company. Must have good communication skills, while have the ability to assist, mentor, and/or teach (support) other employees in the operation of various OS, web-applications, etc. which may be utilized within the company. This position holder must demonstrate the ability to explain programs with patience and clarity. This includes older systems or software and streamline existing technology such to provide or offer money-saving solutions, time saving solutions, efficiencies, or all three.
Job Duties: Required to deal with day-to-day occurrences in the management of software and web-solutions; work with and manage a developing team to provide such solutions; and to create and/or implement security solutions. Must be capable of multi-tasking and work on several projects simultaneously while consulting with other team members or employees.
Education & Requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred or equivalent 3 years work experience in programming or software development and implementation, familiarity with XML, Flash, web content management systems, e-commerce systems, JAVA script applications, and various Microsoft technologies, as well as Cloud, LAN and WAN technologies. Also, must have an interest in serving the public in providing quality renewable energy resources.
Working Conditions Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
